Rediscover
The Authentic
Koh Phayam
Local Experiences
Koh Phayam is rich in cultural diversity with Thais, Burmese, Moken and Westerners (farang) each adding flavor to our island home.
We encourage you to connect with our community through authentic local experiences ranging from visits to a cashew nut planation or the Moken fishing village to an island sightseeing trip.
We also welcome you to celebrate with us during the yearly Cashew Nut or Phayam Surf festivals!
Return to Nature
with the Oriental Pied Hornbill
& Other Island Wildlife
The Oriental Pied Hornbill is a sign of Koh Phayam's well-preserved tropical forest - and are regular visitors at our resort. They make loud cackling calls which is why some of us call them "Nok Gag."
Hornbills are monogamous and mate for life. You can see male hornbills offer gifts (food!) to the females before inviting them back to their nest (such gentlemen!)
Koh Phayam and the surrounding sea are also home to an abundance of other incredible wildlife, including schools of tropical fish, birds, whales, sea otters, turtles, crabs, snakes, butterflies and more!
